She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Jenkins and Georgia Jenkins (Petersen); and her sister Debbie Lewis. She is survived by: her husband Gregory Wendt of Doniphan; her children, Ashlee Degarmo (Jordan Evans) of Lincoln and Lucas Richards (Bianca) of Dodge City, Kansas; her grandchildren, Aevan Richards, Porter Degarmo, Charlie Degarmo, LJ Richards and Noah Richards; her siblings, George Jenkins (Lora) of Mullen, NE and Dorri Newmeyer (Dan) of Glen Rock; her siblings-in-law, Tom Lewis of Albuquerque, Sue Obermeier (Monte) of Giltner, Mary Jane Robertshaw (Jerry) of Marquette, Colleen Happold (Doug) of Doniphan, Carol Burrows (Darrell) of Columbus and Peggy Quandt (Brian) of Nevada; and her pet Kadie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Giltner Community Center (4021 Commercial Ave, Giltner, NE 68841). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Jospeh's Catholic Church.
Memorials may be made in Care of the Family to be determined at a later date.
