With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Laurence Charles James of Du Bois, Nebraska, born in Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on June 10, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardelle Francis and Charlotte James (Hansen); his sister Patty Lou James; and his grandparents, Orville Henry and Mary Ballue.
He is survived by: his family John Deere; his wife Juanita James of Du Bois, NE; his children, Christina James of Pickrell, NE, Charlotte Wallace (Ryann) of Beatrice, NE and John James; his grandchildren, Coby and Elizabeth Wallace of Beatrice, NE; his siblings, Elizabeth "Betty" Wilson (Tom) of Shawnee, KS and Richard "Dick" James (Jennifer) of Verdon, NE; and his stepsiblings, Marie Henry of Palmer, AK, Tom of Osage City, KS and Don Ballue of Osage City, KS. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
