She was predeceased by: her parents, John Michalak and Phyllis Michalak Jr. (Clary); and her sister Margaret Doiel Brothers (William Lasovich). She is survived by: her sons, Josh Michalak (Stacy Bank) of Blair, NE, Doug Michalak (Hannah) of Duncan, NE and Scott Michalak of Hebron, NE; her grandchildren, Devon Michalak, Madison Michalak, Harper Michalak, Kinzley Michalak, Hadley Michalak, Braylon LaPointe, Rainah LaPointe and Kodah LaPointe; and her sisters, Debra Michalak of Omaha, NE, Janet Hernandez of Mesa, AZ and Sandy Lasovich (Garret). She is also survived by Many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Gass Haney Funeral Home (2109 14th St, Columbus, NE 68601). A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
