She was predeceased by: her parents, Ludvik "Dudley" Lavicky and Agnes Lavicky (Cech); her husband Willis Svoboda; her son Mark Svoboda; her granddaughter Holly Crook; her son-in-law Galen Stuhr; her brother Val Lavicky; and her sister-in-law Melissa Lavicky.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Svoboda, Barb Ruth (Russ), Therese "Teri" Stuhr and Carla Svoboda; her sister-in-law Ramona Svoboda; her brothers, Dan (Ann Lavicky), Chuck (Cathy Lavicky) and Tim (Pat Brock); her grandchildren, Stacy Kadavy, Daryl Crook, Ryan Ruth, Andy Kadavy, Lindsay Truksa, Nick Kadavy, Jarred Ruth, Jacob Ruth and Dominic Stuhr; and her great grandchildren, Peyton, Ethan, Capri Quakenbush, Ryker, Kollyns Truksa, Tayla Strayer, Terrance, Quincy Kadavy, Everett Stuhr, Anna, Sophie Kadavy, Drake, Gemma, Aylla Ruth, Charlie, Josie, Sadie, Scottie Ruth, Milo, Georgie Crook, Easton, Ella Ross and Kadence Stuhr. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Assumption Catholic Church (300 Pine St, Dwight, NE 68635). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:15 AM at the Assumption Catholic Cemetery.
