It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delores M. DeVore (Edgar, Nebraska), born in Wichita, Kansas, who passed away on July 15, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Delores leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Delores may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Mersch and Evelyn Mersch (Lambert); her husband Charley DeVore; her son Kim; and her siblings, Ruth Wall and Kerry Mersch.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry DeVore (Chris) of Edgar, Nebraska, Bryan DeVore (Margaret) of Davenport and Jeff DeVore (Jackie) of Edgar; her sister Sue Holley (Chris) of Lakeworth, Texas; and her sister-in-law Brenda Mersch. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 8:00 AM and from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Williams Funeral Home (219 N C St, Edgar, NE 68935). A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of Christ.
