He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his children, Paula Johnson (Craig) of Independence, MO, Peggy Rumsey (Roger) of Oak, NE, Tim Messerli of Edgar, Tad Messerli of Edgar, Ty Messerli of Kearney, NE and Trudy Kamler (Jon) of San Antonio, TX.; his grandchildren, Andrew Johnson (Holly), Samuel Johnson, Joseph Johnson (Caylee), Anna Sechrest (Chanler), Isaiah Johnson (Rachel), Amos Johnson (Melissa), Emily Applegate, Kelsey Osborn (Anthony), Andrea Gosser (Curt) and Josie Kamler; and his great grandchildren, Charli, Kalli, Samuel, Kaiden, Carter, Haven, Mylo, Wade, Elsie, Norah, Ruth, Florence, Chloe, Everett, Emmett, Odin and Kirby.
