He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Shaw and Elsie Shaw (Jester); his wife Theda Melvin; his siblings, Donald Shaw and Twila Harnett; and his great grandchild Eliza.
He is survived by: his children, Kurt Shaw (Lydia), Cathy Mehrens (Dave), Theresa Schneider (Randy) and Deb Hankins (Joe).
A memorial fund has been established by the family for later designation.
