We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2023, at the age of 89, Lois L. Bettendorf of Elgin, Nebraska, born in Neligh, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred "Ray" Pollock and Lila Harriet Pollock (Dalton); her husband Noel J. Bettendorf; her siblings, Don Pollock and Ruth Carr; and her siblings-in-law, Dewey Carr, Robert Bettendorf, Sharon Pollock and LaVonne Bettendorf.

She is survived by : her sons, Rollie Bettendorf (Nancy) of Stanton, NE, Steve Bettendorf (Gigi) of Bennet, NE and Mark Bettendorf (Beverly) of Wahoo, NE; her brother LaVern Pollock of Neligh, NE; and her sister-in-law Glenice Pollock of Oakdale, NE. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorials are suggested to the Elgin Community Christian Church.
