It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecilia Helen Sramek (Elkhorn, Nebraska), who passed away on August 22, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Herman Fischer and Marie Fischer (Deuling); her husband Gus; and her siblings, Robert Fischer, Mary Grovijohn, Richard Fischer, John Fischer and Larry Fischer.

She is survived by : her children, Helen Sramek of Chincoteague, Mary Tesar (Rich) of Waterloo, Michael Sramek (Kathy) of Gold Canyon and Janine Bruder (Mike) of Indianola, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Jake Tesar (Cori) of Andale, KS, Laura Watts (Ajay) of Forestdale, MA, Zack Tesar (Joelle) of Aurora, NE, Tom Sramek (Laura) of Honolulu, HI, Eric Sramek of Centennial, CO, Madeline Dreamer (Brady) of Ashland, NE and Mitch Bruder of Waterloo, NE. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
