He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Carter and Dolly Carter; and his sister Mary Kay Osterman. He is survived by: his wife Ellen; his children, Keith (Marilyn) of Holstein, IA, Steve of Omaha and Mary Johanek (Jay) of Omaha; and his sister Elsie Coble. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren.
