With sadness, we share the passing of Mark E. Schroeder of Elm Creek, Nebraska. Mark, born on May 9, 1958, passed away on September 22, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Schroeder and Iva Schroeder (Parks); his siblings, Darlene Johnston, Andy, Ben and Randy Schroeder; his brothers-in-law, Ron and Joe Broe; and his father-in-law Matthew Broe.

He is survived by: his wife Cindy Schroeder of Kearney, NE; his daughters, Bridget Jones (Kris) of Miller, NE and Deziree Bredemeier (David) of Filley, NE; his grandchildren, Bree Bredemeier, Sailor Jones, Savanna Jones, Maverick Jones and Brewer Bredemeier; his siblings, Bob Schroeder (Betty) of Holdrege, NE and Jean Moore (Calvin) of Elm Creek, NE; his sisters-in-law, Brenda Schroeder of Elm Creek, NE, Vickie Schroeder of Kearney, NE, Pam Tool (Richard) of Elm Creek, NE, Connie Broe of Canton, GA and Marian Broe of Chicago, IL; and his mother-in-law Betty Broe of Kearney, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (314 N Church St, Elm Creek, NE 68836). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials are suggested to the Elm Creek Fire and Rescue Department or to the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
