She was predeceased by : her parents, Fay W. Catterson and Inez E. Catterson (Jackson); her husbands, John Stevens, Sr. and Steven Bennett; her son John Stevens, Jr.; and her brothers, Merle Catterson and Jim Catterson.

She is survived by : her son Gerald (Kristi Stevens); and her brother Marvin (Jan Catterson).
