He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Phil Kleppinger and Marguerite Kleppinger; his in-laws, Lena and John Rowan; his son Jason; and his grandson Max.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene Rowan; and his children, Monica Huebner (Robert) of Council Bluffs, IA, John Kleppinger (Melissa) of Fruita, CO and James Kleppinger (Jill) of Lincoln, NE. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren.
