She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Saunders and Bernadine Saunders (Rich); her husband Dean Claassen; her granddaughters, Katie Koepke, Laura Koepke and April Claassen; and her great grandchild Kassie.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Jacobs of Grand Rapids, MN, Rick Claassen (Jackie) of Dakota City, NE, Mary Koepke (Keith) of Sioux City, IA and Tim Claassen (Patty) of Poplar Bluff, MO; and her sister Georgiana Iglesias. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Luke Lutheran Church (211 2nd St, Emerson, NE 68733). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
