He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Brockmeier and Esther Brockmeier (Koch); and his siblings-in-law, Patty Brockmeier and Glenn Artz. He is survived by: his wife Kay Brockmeier of Eustis; his children, Bryant Brockmeier (Amanda) of Eustis, Craig Brockmeier (Cathy) of Grand Island and Jodi Azevedo (Mike) of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Evan Brockmeier (Jennifer), Reid Brockmeier, Jennae Brockmeier, Lane Baxter (Autumn Rhoads), Erin Brockmeier, Gage Brockmeier, Brooklyn Azevedo and William Azevedo; his great grandchildren, Everleigh and Jovie Brockmeier; his brothers, Don Brockmeier (Judy) of Eustis and Bruce Brockmeier of Eustis; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Israel (Steve) and Roberta Artz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
