Roma D. Rhodes Obituary
We announce the death of Roma D. Rhodes (Exeter, Nebraska), who passed away on September 15, 2026, at the age of 91. Roma will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen E. Mitchell and Alice Mitchell (Kurtzer); her in-laws, Harold and Ellen Rhodes; her brothers, Wayne, Lyle, Harold and Donald Mitchell; and her sisters-in-law, Velva, Fran and Verona Mitchell.
She is survived by: her husband Robert O.; her children, Sue Kittinger (Vern) and Steve Rhodes (Cathy); her grandchildren, Jenna Rhodes and Landon Rhodes (Megan); her great grandchild Willow; her brother Daryl Mitchell (Carolyn); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret Mitchell and John Rhodes (Barb). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmer Funeral Home (305 S Burlington Ave, Exeter, NE 68351). A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Exeter Methodist Community Church (319 E Seneca St, Exeter, NE 68351).
Instead of flowers, memorials are to be directed to the Exeter Methodist Community Church or Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children.
