She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Kenneth, Norma Peters, Leon and Bertha Weidner; her stepfather Frank Franzen; and her uncles, Myron, Gaylen and David Peters.
She is survived by: her parents, David Eugene Weidner (Tonya) of Fairbury, NE and Noreen Kay Weidner (Peters) of O'Neill, NE; her son Sterling Schmidt of Fairbury, NE; her fiancé Santana Schmidt of Fairbury, NE; her siblings, Kerri Weidner of Lincoln, NE, Cammie Cuhel (LeRoy) of O'Neill, NE, Alicia Weidner (Sean) of Beatrice, NE, Nickolas Weidner (Crystal) of Beatrice, NE and Jacob Weidner of Lincoln, NE; and her stepbrother Nestor Conato of Lincoln, NE. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Elgin Community Christian Church (110 N 4th St, Elgin, NE 68636). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
