He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Margaret and Anna Margaret; his son Andy; and his in-laws, Robert and Jean Sloan.
He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Nate (Cori), Megan (Pat) and Emily (Mason); his grandchildren, Lucas, Berkleigh, Max, Brysen, Merrick, Torrin and McVey; and his siblings, Ken (Sherry), Jim (Diane), Tim (Pam) and Nancy (Todd). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
A rosary will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 7:00 AM and at 7:00 PM at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home (2414 H St, Fairbury, NE 68352). Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (807 F St, Fairbury, NE 68352).
