We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2023, at the age of 71, Douglas Dean Zimmerman of Fairbury, Nebraska, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his mother Laraine Zimmerman (Meyer) of Fairbury; and his parents-in-law, Herbert and Wauneta Ahrens. He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Ahrens; his children, Korinne Zimmerman of Lincoln and Riley Zimmerman (Krystal) of Phillipsburg, KS; his grandchildren, Dakkon, Andi, Wyndham Priko of Lincoln, Kiley and Jake Zimmerman of Phillipsburg, KS; and his sister Debra DeWald (Douglas) of Gretna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Memorials will go to Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City.
