With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ella Mae Monroe (Fairbury, Nebraska), born in Garden City, Kansas, who passed away on November 18, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul A. Janz and Dorothy Janz (Salter); her friend Geri Katz of Fairbury, NE.; her husband Bill; and her daughter Lisa Hasselbring.

She is survived by : her sons, Mark, Shirley Monroe of Fullerton, NE and Matt Monroe (Julie Sypherd) of Hastings, NE; her son-in-law Max Hasselbring of Johnson, NE.; her grandchildren, Ryan Monroe (Ann), Kendall Fencl (Dustin), Kylie Hochstein (Justin), Kelsey Gulizia (Lance), Kaitlyn Monroe (Zach Cambron), Kapri Monroe and Brytton Monroe (Brittany Jensen); and her stepgrandson Robby Marsh (Natalie).
