It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Everett Frederick Shinn of Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on January 4, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Emery Shinn and Esther Shinn (Ridder); his wife Marilyn Shinn; his son Terry Shinn; his sister Sally; his brother-in-law Harold Riddle; his brother Roland Shinn; and his sister-in-law Deb Shinn.

He is survived by : his son Gary Shinn (Cynthia) of Fairbury; his daughter-in-law Becky Shinn of Wilber; his grandchildren, Ryan Deike (Paul) of Omaha, Johanna Shinn (Aaron Carnahan) of Omaha, Jarrod Shinn (Kendall) of Central City and Jennifer Hoepker (Alex) of Bartlett; his great grandchildren, Logan, Wyatt Deike, Emery Shinn, Tucker Hoepker, Jayden Hewitt and Jasper Hoepker; his siblings, Dale (Marilyn) of Fairbury, Roger (Karen) of Beatrice, Joe of Alliance, Ila Jean Fett (Darrell) and Judy Schoenrock (Roger); and his sister-in-law Kathy Shinn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
