He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Glen Davis and Carrie Davis; his daughters, Stephanie Renee (Joe) of Omaha, Nebraska and Jill Suzanne of Fairbury, Nebraska; his wife Sharon Elaine Anderson of Fairbury, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Paige Boeckner (Ross) of Fairbury, Nebraska, Garrett Sacco (Amy) of Omaha, Nebraska., Alexander Plummer of Grand Island, Nebraska. and Noah Sacco of Sioux City, Iowa.; his great grandchildren, Wynn, Dorothy, June and Kix Boeckner of Fairbury, Nebraska; his sisters, Sharon Jensen of Atlantic, Iowa and Connie Wailes (Denny) of Atlantic, Iowa; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Davis of Elliott, Iowa, Sandra Kalsem of Ames, Iowa and David Anderson (Margret) of Huxley, Iowa; and his siblings, Phyllis Schimelfenig (Bob), Ronald (Mary) and Darrel. He was also cherished by Nieces, nephews and countless friends.
He served on Church Councils, Trustee Boards, the American Lutheran Church Foundation and various committees.
