With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gaylin Hartzer Sr. of Fairbury, Nebraska, who passed away on October 18, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Willis Hartzer and Inez Hartzer (Cross); his wife Loyann Hartzer (Taylor); his siblings, Wallace, Harold Hartzer and Shirley Miller (Don); and his parents-in-law, Lloyd Taylor, Ann (Miller) and Carl Rieger.
He is survived by : his children, Gaylin Hartzer Jr. of McCook, NE, Lorrie Hofstetter (Mike) of Daykin, NE, Phillip Hartzer (Lorretta) of Colorado Springs, CO and Kris Hartzer (Chelle) of Lawrenceville, GA.; his sisters-in-law, Eva Hartzer of Salem, OR, Beth Ann Hartzer of McCook, NE and Linda Taylor of McCook, NE; and also, Wallace (Ace) and Harold (Duce). He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials will be donated to the Humane Society.
