He is survived by: his wife Thelma Simacek of Tobias, NE.; his daughter Cherie Dieken (Bo McShan) of Gibbon; his grandchildren, Tess Trew (Harold) of Anselmo, Teran Schellhorn of Fairbury, Eve Dieken of Minden, Rebecca McShan of Gibbon, Owen, Keegan and Treigh McShan; his great grandchildren, Sieanna of Anselmo, Weston, Tregun, Zaydn Trew of Anselmo, Raedyn and Kaidyn Schellhorn of Fairbury; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Schellhorn of Denver. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (1100 G St, Fairbury, NE 68352).
