He is survived by : his wife Kim; and his children, Lucas Thomas (Laura), Lena Vasa (Craig), Dan Helmick, Joshua Helmick (Joni) and Jennifer Ernst. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, a grand-daughter-in-law, and his first great-grandchild, soon to arrive, 4 brothers, sister-in-laws, and a host of nieces and nephews.
