He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam "Butch" Jr. Wasserman and Cena Wasserman (Lottman); his wife Phyllis Rempel; his sisters, Carol Saathoff and Denise Hoffman (Jim); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Rempel, Les Rempel and Larry Rempel.
He is survived by: his children, Mark (Cathie) of Beatrice, Bruce (Denise) of Fairbury and Mary Wilson (Steve) of Wymore; his grandchildren, Shawn Ebeling (Alicia), Eric Ebeling, Angie Allen (Nick), Brendon Stigge (Jacklyn), Adam Wasserman (Regan Deckinger), Craig Wiedergreen (Mandy) and Jessica Johnson (Alex); his great grandchildren, Hannah, Cole, Lily Ebeling, Leiah, Dakota Allen, Callen Stigge, Kaaden, Serenity, Anaya Wiedergreen, Carl and Wayne Johnson; his great great grandchild Luci; and his sisters-in-law, Colleen Detter (Jim) of Papillion and Janie Rempel of Bloomington, Illinois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family's choice in care of the mortuary.
