He is survived by: his wife Cindy Melcher; his children, Holly Melcher (Aron Rasmussen), James Melcher (Brittany Spieker), Jessica Melcher (Eric Brockway), Jacob Melcher and Joseph Melcher; his granddaughter Jimarie Brockway; and his sister Karla Melander (Tim).
