It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Carter of Falls City, Nebraska, born in Albert Lea, Minnesota, who passed away on March 20, 2022, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Allen Schmahl and Iris Schmahl (Rath); and her brother Jeff Schmahl. She is survived by : her husband Bill Carter of Falls City; her children, Megan Nelson (Josh) of Lincoln, NE and Peter (Amber) of Corning, NY; her sister Jill Adler (Steve) of Oklahoma City, OK; her sister-in-law Maria Schmahl of Delray Beach, FL; and her grandchildren, Jethro, Alice, Vivienne and Zoe.

Family suggest memorials to the Falls City Education Foundation to be used for a scholarship for a student who wants to attend community college.
