He is survived by: his children, Joseph Kirkendall of Marion, IN, Patricia Madsen (Erik) of Hiawatha, KS, Jared Kirkendall (Merci) of Rulo, NE, John Kirkendall (Regina) of Falls City, NE and Victoria Luce (Josh) of Manhattan, KS. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
