She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Runyan and Ollye Runyan (Ray); her husband Edward Eckwert, Jr.; and her brother Dallas. She is survived by: her daughters, Jeanne Shefferd (Larry) of Pensacola, FL and Joan E. Stice (Otto) of Falls City; her grandchildren, Tiffany Selleck (Brad), Krystal Howard (Ben), Molly Richey (Josh), Justin Stice (Caitlin), Amber Imbiri (Gilbert), Justin Shefferd (Cassidy), Adam Shefferd (Courtney), Brandon Shefferd (Amber) and Travis Shefferd (Jenni); and her sister Martha Runyan of Falls City. She is also survived by twenty-five great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and two nieces.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Dorr & Clark Funeral Home (2303 Harlan St, Falls City, NE 68355). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
