She was predeceased by: her parents, William West and Dorothy West (Tuschen); and her grandson Kohen Hogue. She is survived by: her husband Kenny Updike of Falls City; her children, Brad Miller (Teresa) of Columbus, WI and Terri Hogue (Don) of Falls City; and her siblings, Tom West (Mary) of Lodi, WI and Jean Lange (Darryl) of Montello, WI. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
