She was predeceased by : her parents, Leslie Johnson and Anna Johnson (Bohs); her husband Richard "Dick" Baxter; her brother Bob Johnson (Karen); and her great grandchildren, Gabe Tierney and Ryder Tierney.

She is survived by : her children, Tammy Baxter and Rick Baxter (Tracy); her grandchildren, Shaleen Bowles (Aaron), Blake Tierney, Casey Tierney, Bailey Baxter and Courtney Baxter; her siblings, Beverly Christensen and Gary Johnson (Judy); and her siblings-in-law, Katie Cook, Marva Adams, Christy Beistle (Gary) and Kenny Baxter (Lona). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home (444 S 17th St, Blair, NE 68008). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Abiding Faith Baptist Church (710 N 15th St, Fort Calhoun, NE 68023).
