It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Barker of Fort Calhoun, Nebraska, born in Blair, Nebraska, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wallace Jones (Bus) and Maudie Jones of Fort Calhoun; her siblings, Russ Jones and Judy; and her brother-in-law Ron Stork.

She is survived by: her children, Taraisa Groves (Butch) of Fort Calhoun and Mike Barker (Jenn) of Lee's Summit, MO.; her grandchildren, Jordan Groves (Cindy), Jackson Groves (Katie Harnack), Josie Gonzalez (Juan) and Michela Barker (Justin Smith); and her great grandchild Maudie Gonzalez.

All memorials will be donated to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home Aviary.
