She was predeceased by : her parents, Gerald James and Mabel Marie James (Thompson); and her siblings, Dick James, Bob James and Alma Smith.

She is survived by : her husband Eldon Tholson; her brothers, Ken James (Doris) and Tom James (Linda); her sister-in-law Myra James; and her children, James Tholson (Lisa), Craig Tholson and Christine Brumbaugh. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
