He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley F. Shoemaker (Stan) and Susan A. Shoemaker (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Tellez (Buerer); his children, Theresa Sliva (Jonathon) of Hastings, NE and Arthur Tellez (Melanie) of Hastings, NE; his siblings, David Shoemaker of Franklin, NE, Cathy Tourney of Kearney, NE and Lori Mettler (Jason) of Rapid City, SD; his grandchildren, Brittney Lindner (Rogelio), Rick Lindner, Kaitlyn Sliva, Josie Lindner, Shelby Lindner, Makenna Horton, Kelby Horton, Kieragin Horton, Kayden Tellez and Daniel Tellez; and his great grandchildren, Ezra and Raymond.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Crossgate Community Church. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clay Center Cemetery.
