He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dorn and Dora Dorn (Bienhoff); his father-in-law Archie Platt; and his sister-in-law Pat Dorn. He is survived by: his wife Kathy Dorn (Platt) of Franklin; his daughters, Savannah Johnson (Scott) of Minden, NE and Jessica Wigle (Nick) of Greenwood, NE; his grandchildren, Hailey, Rilynn, Landon, BeauDel, Jhett and Baylor; his brothers, Dennis Dorn (Sara) of Franklin, NE, Wendall Dorn (Debbie) of Franklin, NE and Paul Dorn of Minden, NE; his mother-in-law Doris Platt; and his brothers-in-law, David Platt (RoseAnn) of Franklin, NE and Bob Platt (May) of Franklin, NE. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
