It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verna Jean Olson of Franklin, Nebraska, who passed away on February 20, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Olson; her children, Connie, Steve Schmidt, Franklin, Danny Olson (Melanie Buehler), Tanya and Larry Hassebrook; her grandchildren, Michaela, Dave Wallace, Kyle, Erica Schmidt, Dena', Nate Dunse, James, Charity Olson, Jalesa Hassebrook and Kortney Hassebrook; and her siblings, Carolyn Piska of Phoenix, AZ, Dale, Darold Anderson of Kissimmee, FL, Janet Merten of Loveland, CO and MaryAnn Olson of Sparks, NV. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
