She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph and Lenora'Wittmershouse'Hurt; her husband Alfred Sick Jr. Alberta; and her brother Francis Hurt. She is survived by: her sons, David Sick (Carolyn) of Smithville, MO. and Steven Sick (Cindy) of Fremont; her grandchildren, Kristien Simons, Jr. (Kenneth) of Blair and Emma Sick of Merriam, KS.; her stepgranddaughters, Nikki Beatty (Chad) of Fremont and Amy Vyhlidal of Winter Springs, FL.; her great grandchildren, Raylan David Simons and Briggs Charles Simons; her stepgreat-granddaughter Emily Beatty; and her sister Beverly Weishahn (Larry) of Beatrice.
In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the 'Alfred Sick Jr. Agriculture Education Memorial Scholarship' awarded annually at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln.
