We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2023, at the age of 75, Barbara Kaye Jessen of Fremont, Nebraska, born in Wahoo, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Arthur Lubker and Muriel Lubker (Randell); her husband Veryl Jessen; her son Craig; her daughter-in-law Beth Jessen; her daughter Shannon; her son-in-law Corey Vandewege; her grandchildren, Lainie, Andrew Linafelter, Lexi, Chandler Sandman, Lacey, James Kettelhake, Kinzie Vandewege and Connor Vandewege; her great grandchild Xander Linafelter; her sisters, Joyce Cruickshank and Jean Nick (Ernie); and her sister-in-law Gayle Johnson. She was also cherished by numerous nephews and nieces and grand nephews and nieces.
She loved hosting bi-annual Christmas parties at her house and had already been talking this spring about reviving that tradition in December 2023 for the first time since COVID.
