She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hunteman and Alice Hunteman (Hoefner); her husband Laverne Oerman; her sisters, Joanne Knoell (Loren) and Georgean Cunningham; and her siblings-in-law, Les and Pearl Oerman.

She is survived by: her children, Betty Rasmussen (Terry) of Arlington and Larry Oerman (Kathy) of Fontanelle, NE; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jason Oerman, Sara Scholz (Mike), Krista Prinz (Todd) and Paul Rasmussen (Holly); and her great grandchildren, Abby, Garrett Scholz, Kutter, Chesney Prinz, Weston and Tyson Rasmussen.

Memorials may be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or Shalimar Gardens in Fremont.
