He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Brindley and Rose Brindley (Benning); his wife Mary; his daughter Christine Donovan (Chrissy); his brothers, Gerald, Merlyn, Glen, Dean, Ron and Myron; his granddaughter Alisa Rogers; and his great grandchild Aspyn Jade.

He is survived by: his children, Devon Brindley of Fremont, Jeff Brindley (Juana) of Fremont, Todd Brindley (Jill) of Lincoln, Jim Donovan of Fremont, Candy Carey (Don) of Fremont, Misty Leedom (Scott) of Fremont and Kerry Schwarze (Wayne) of Fremont; and his sisters, Katherine Seagle of Wahoo and Peggy Haas (Gerald) of Pierce. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
