He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil H Zimmerman and Mabel Zimmerman (Brouhard); his wife Jo Ann Owens (Floyd); his sisters, June Baxter and Donna Zimmerman; his stepson James T Owens; his siblings-in-law, Leslie Baxter Jr., Robert Eggers and Marilyn Zimmerman (Tess); and his niece Kimberly Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Gwen Eggers and Clarence Zimmerman; his stepdaughter Elizabeth Reese (Steve); his stepdaughter-in-law Patsy Owens; his grandchildren, Melonie Elmore (Geoff), Julie Taylor (Wesley) and Jamie Owens (Anita); and his nieces and nephews, David Baxter (Laurie), Debbie Hanen (Mike), Susan Leduc (Robert), Rebecca Simmons Ausich, Ronald Eggers (Millicent) and Jacqueline Zimmerman.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ludvigsen Mortuary - Fremont (1249 E 23rd St, Fremont, NE 68025).
