He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Emanuel and Mildred Emanuel (Baumert); and his sister Sarah Emanuel Heller. He is survived by: his brothers, Bob Emanuel (LeeAnn) of Salem, Eric Emanuel (Priya Sopori) of Los Angeles, Matt Emanuel (Bonny) of West Point and John Emanuel (Jeanine) of Schuyler; his brother-in-law Zelan Heller of Rogers; and his caregiver Jane Yosten of Fremont. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (811 Locust St, North Bend, NE 68649). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be directed to the family for Jane Yosten, or St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
