She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Du Bois and Janet Du Bois; and her brother Dennis Du Bois. She is survived by: her husband John Hegstrom; and her children, Paul Hegstrom, Rachel Green, Matthew Hegstrom and Sarah McCoy. She is also survived by her six grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Presbyterian Church (109 E 6th St, Fremont, NE 68025).
