She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Sedlacek and Kathryn Sedlacek (Vanek); her husband Charles Anton Stepanek; her son Andrew; her granddaughter Kristina; and her siblings, Dorothy, Dennis and Dolores.
She is survived by: her children, Roxanne Merizalde of Cedar Park, Laurie Stepanek of Lincoln, Angela Araya (Braulio) of Grand Island, Charles Stepanek (Leigh) of Lincoln and Russell Stepanek of Omaha; and her sister Deanna Brandsberg (George) of Cedar Falls, Iowa. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
