She was predeceased by: her mother Doris Almkov Wells; her sister Linda; her aunts, Evelyn and Glenys Almklov; and her son Daren.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy Grassmeyer (Dan) of Thornton, Mike (Brenda Christensen) of Omaha, Lisa Blankenau (Tom) of Lincoln, Randy (Laura) of Houston, Brad (Mary) of Charlotte and Amy Stewart (Ryan) of Golden, Colorado; her sisters, Marylyn Rosen of New Orleans and Cheryl Generini (Franco) of Florence; and her siblings-in-law, Janice Hill and Lonnie Morris (Frances). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to Fremont Cosmopolitan Club for diabetes research and treatment.
