He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schmidt and Helen Schmidt (Pollock). He is survived by: his son Darrin Schmidt (Kristin) of Elkhorn, NE; his grandchildren, Ryan (Katie), Samuel and Miles; his daughters, Tammy Tuttle (Rich) of Depew, OK and Ashley Clark of Lincoln, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Lonni Stedry (Andersen) of Peoria, AZ, Jeanie Eker (Andersen) of Shawnee Mission, KS and Arden Andersen (Laurel) of Scottsdale, AZ..
