It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Erwin Steffen (Fremont, Nebraska), who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Steffen and Mary Steffen (Harstick); his wife Donna Mae Steffen (Kampschneider); his sister Barbara Jean Nebuda (Steffen); his niece Elizabeth Steffen; and his sons-in-law, Scott Morgan and Mouafah Zahid.
He is survived by: his children, Tamra Zahid (Steffen), Michael Steffen (Lisa), David Steffen and Michelle Morgan (Steffen); his grandchildren, Zerreyna Zahid, Ryan Morgan (Becca), Jason Morgan (Greta), Zheeanna Zahid, Amber Morgan and Faith Steffen; and his siblings, Jerome Steffen (Barb) and Dorothy. He is also survived by his children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Erv has requested donations be made to Travelers Protective Association (TPA) Hearing Trust, Woodcliff Veterans Club, and Fremont Friendship Center in memory of Erwin T Steffen.
