He was predeceased by: his father Larry Barton; and his stepfather Marlin Rogers. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Barton (Neal); his wife Jodi Barton; his children, Joshua Foxworthy, Zachary Kopejtka (Kelly), Ryan Kopejtka (Alesha), Emily Kopejtka of Fremont and Alesha Kopejtka of Fremont; his brother Richard Barton (Janelle) of Tekamah; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Landon, Kylee, Emmett, Dominic, Addyson, Charleigh, Theodore and Jaxon; and his sibling's children, Jesse Barton and Gracelyn Barton.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene Fremont Military & Johnson RoadFremont (960 Johnson Rd, Fremont, NE 68025). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fremont Nazarene Church (960 Johnson Rd, Fremont, NE 68025).
