Gregory Ishmiel Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gregory Ishmiel of Fremont, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 31, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Ishmiel and Agnes Ishmiel (Scholtz); his daughter Kristine; and his siblings, Raymond "Bill" Ishmiel and Jacqueline Collier.
He is survived by: his wife Barb; his daughters, Kim Hess (Brad) and Kathi Ishmiel; his grandchildren, Karissa Swanson (Matt), Brandon Hess (Brittany), Andrew Longwell, Angie Peitzmeier (Justin) and Kylie Maenke (Peter); his great grandchildren, Quinn Swanson, Aaron Peitzmeier, Trevor Peitzmeier, Ambrose Longwell, Emma Peitzmeier, Brooke Hess and Blake Hess; and his siblings-in-law, Denny Collier, Lowell Rabe, Ron Morrissey, Frank Maersch and Nancy Maersch. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
